I'm new to the site, so I couldn't find a link to, basically, comment on the entire album / all the tracks at once.

I agree with the other reviews: your voice is incredible. Still, I think there is potential for you to stretch out into new territory. The final hip-hop track is a pleasant change; I'd also like to hear a serious downtempo ballad.

Stretch out. Even Maxwell had "This Woman's Work" ;-) (Wink)

I'm always interested in the "how" of an album, that is, how it was put together. Who played on it? Who mixed it? There's not a lot to read there. I'm too new here to know if that's endemic to the site or not.

On a personal note, I love this sort of classical R&B. Still, I'd like to hear some straying into the Outside. Know any jazz cats in your town who are into Chick Corea or Herbie Hancock? Some wicked, complex chords and harmonies would round the album out nicely.

Again, if I'm in the wrong place, or just sounding like a 'Dee-dee-dee', attribute it to my newness here.
